With the holidays passed and many of us carrying a little extra weight due to being less active than usual this year, it’s no surprise that weight loss is trending yet again. Although the COVID19 pandemic has made it harder to get into a regular weight loss routine with gyms and fitness centers around the world subject to temporary closures, the good news is that there are several things that you can do at home to lose any extra pounds and improve your lifestyle. Eat a Calorie Deficit:

Your body uses a certain number of calories every single day just to stay alive. This is known as your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). Your BMR will be higher if you do any sort of regular exercise. If you want to lose weight, you should aim to eat fewer calories than your body burns each day. As a result, your body will need to get the extra energy from somewhere other than your food, and it will turn to the fats that it has stored up in your body.
